Accounts Payable Clerk I

As an Accounts Payables Clerk I, you will be responsible for accurate and timely invoice verification, processing payments and billings for claims, and maintaining vendor records. This role includes managing vendor relationships and collaborating with internal departments to support efficient financial operations.

Job Description

Full Time, On-Site Role

Location : 96-1282 Waihona Street, Pearl City, HI 96782

Compensation : $21-$23 / hr

You will contribute by :

Completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, verifying, and reconciling invoices

Reconciling site-specific vendor statements and purchase orders, resolving discrepancies as needed

Handling vendor discrepancies and claims, including billing adjustments and credit processing

Allocating expenses to appropriate general ledger accounts

Managing vendor payments, ensuring adherence to payment terms and schedules

Collaborating effectively with team members and other departments to achieve departmental and organizational objectives

We're searching for candidates with :

Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with AS400 software system preferred but not required

Strong data entry skills

Problem-solving abilities

Effective communication skills

Basic accounting knowledge

Time management skills

0-2 years of relevant experience in accounting preferred

Environment :

• Office : Office Temperature (65F to 75F)
