CNC Machinist, 12-Hour Shift, $22 to $28
Location : On-site
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 12-hour shift
Pay : $22.00 to $28.00 per hour
About the Role
Join a tight-knit machining team producing precise parts on modern CNC lathes and mills. You will set up machines, write and edit G-code, run first articles, hold tight tolerances, and keep production moving safely and cleanly.
What You Will Do
Set up CNC machines, workholding, and offsets
Write and edit G-code independently
Operate CNC lathes and mills
Perform first article and in-process inspections
Read blueprints with GD&T callouts
Recommend process improvements to reduce cycle time and scrap
Complete basic maintenance and troubleshooting
Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
Lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
What You Bring
2 or more years of CNC machining experience
Solid knowledge of metals, plastics, tools, and feeds and speeds
Skilled with micrometers, calipers, microscopes
Able to run multiple machines and make minor G-code edits
Familiarity with SolidWorks and Fusion 360 is a plus
Able to stand for long periods and work an occasional weekend
