Quality Engineer

Job Summary :

The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting daily Quality System operations including oversight of the Quality Technicians and their daily functions. Supporting Quality Leadership with new product launches with a customer facing approach. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the Quality System.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leading or participating in the corrective actions process.
• Supporting or performing Receiving and Final Inspections.
• Facilitating the calibration of Quality and R&D Lab equipment.
• Performing Internal Audits per schedule and direction. Follow to closure.
• Contributing to the generation of standard work instructions and training others.
• Understanding inspection devices and teaching others to be effective with their use.
• Leading or supporting the completion of customer assessments.
• On-site support at the customer if required.
• Follow all company safety policies mandatory PPE requirements and operational guidelines.
• Participate in 5S Kaizen and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

The work environment will be a mix of an office setting manufacturing floor and active construction site. Noise level : Normal warehouse manufacturing and construction noises.
