About IPSD

Caterpillars Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) designs tests and manufactures 0.5 to 18L engines that not only power Caterpillar machines but also power over 5000 other applications including Marine Petroleum Industrial Applications Electric Generators and Locomotives. Job Summary :

Are you ready to make a difference in the world of heavy machinery Caterpillar in Seguin Texas is seeking a dynamic Material Handler to support our yard operations! In this role you will be responsible for safely operating material-handling equipment to move load unload and dispose of materials within the yard. This role supports smooth yard operations by managing wood pallets scrap wood and other materials maintaining a clean and organized work environment and ensuring all tasks are completed in compliance with safety and operational standards. What you will do :

• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move stage and organize materials in the yard
• Collect break down and dispose of wood pallets scrap wood and other yard waste according to company processes
• Load and unload trucks trailers or containers as needed.
• Maintain a clean safe and organized yard ensuring clear pathways and proper material storage
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns
• Assist with inventory counts material tracking and documentation of material movement
• Perform activities associated with managing waste and recycling streams
• Follow standard operating procedures and area-specific work instructions
• Support other yard or warehouse tasks as assigned to ensure smooth overall operation
• Submit andassistwith the resolution of Continuous Improvement Cards
• Assistin problem-solving and improvement initiatives across departments
• Occasionallyparticipatein training and development
• Perform any other assigned duties
