A national law firm is seeking an experienced associate to join their Labor, Employment and Workplace Safety (LEWS) practice in their dynamic Portland, OR office.

Qualifications :

  • 3 years of litigation experience on a wide range of employment issues including wage & hour and single plaintiff discrimination / harassment matters.
  • Licensed in Oregon or eligible to be licensed in Oregon.
  • Washington and California (with PAGA experience) licenses are a plus.
  • Must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.

About the position :

  • Candidate will draft and review employment policies and employment-related documents such as offer letters, employment agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Candidate will work on the labor and employment aspects of business transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions.
  • Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

    • Compensation and Benefits :

  • Base Compensation $230,000 - $290,000 / year
  • Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, 12 paid holidays, 3-4 weeks PTO, 401k
