Responsibilities

As a

Residential Counselor , you will provide milieu counseling that inspires and uplifts, facilitating engaging group sessions that foster connection and learning. You'll assist clients in practicing vital daily skills, guiding them toward independence and confidence.

Your keen observational skills will shine as you participate in treatment planning , offering therapeutic interventions and insightful feedback to help clients achieve their goals. Safety is our top priority, and you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through vigilant monitoring, conducting unit checks, and performing belongings and room searches to identify any potential hazards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or sociology preferred.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for insurance coverage for driving company vehicles.
• CPR certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
