Compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor Needed!

Hybrid Schedule

Position Overview :

Substance abuse counselor will be in charge of assisting patients through medically assisted treatments and offering techniques for handling opioid addiction. The counselor conducts individual sessions and group sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. The counselor will evaluate patients' progress during counseling and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other counselors to assist the patients in achieving overall outcomes.

Responsibilities :

• Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment.
• Ensure efficient and effective delivery of counseling services to all patients.
• Conduct individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination.
• Complete Bio-psychosocial assessment.
• Respond, as needed, to patient grievances and complaints.
• Develop aftercare plans and discharge plans.
• Other related duties as determined by supervisor.
