About The Position

Wellhart is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 72-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Michigan. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a variety of cases including endoscopy, general surgery, OB / GYN, orthopedics, pain management, urology, vascular, and healthy pediatrics. This opportunity begins on 09 / 01 / 2025, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, including 8-5 shifts and beeper call. The selected CRNA will work under a team model with supervising MDAs, providing high-quality anesthesia care for both outpatient (70%) and inpatient (30%) procedures. Proficiency in Epic EHR and Dragon dictation is required. There is potential for assignment extension for the right candidate.

Responsibilities and Duties :

Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures

Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans

Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed during procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and hospital policies

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EHR and Dragon dictation

Provide post-anesthesia care and monitor patients' recovery

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities

Perform nerve blocks as needed (preferred but not required)

Additional Information :

Must be licensed to practice in Michigan

Experience with a diverse range of surgical procedures strongly preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills required

Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs
