Psychiatric Nurse Manager - Adolescent Services

Falls Church, VA | Full-Time | Days (No Weekends)
Salary : $90,000 - $105,000 per year (Based on Experience)
Sign-On Bonus : Up to $25,000
Relocation Assistance : Up to $10,000

About the Role

A leading behavioral health facility in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Manager to oversee Adolescent Services . This position plays a key leadership role in inpatient acute care settings, ensuring high-quality mental health care for adolescent patients.Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and productivity management

Ensure compliance with hospital policies and behavioral health care standards

Provide education and ongoing staff development

Work closely with the Director of Nursing and Program Director to maintain quality standards

Monitor patient care quality and safety

Serve as a clinical leader, mentor, and advocate for patients and staff

Assist in crisis intervention and stabilization efforts

Qualifications

Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Virginia or compact state

BSN or MSN strongly preferred (or equivalent experience)

3-5 years of inpatient acute care behavioral health experience

Previous leadership experience (e.g., Supervisor, Coordinator, Manager)

Adolescent psychiatric experience required

BLS and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification (within 30 days of hire)
