Prairie Field Services – Crude Hauler Join Our Growing Company!

Position Summary : The Crude Oil Driver operates a truck and trailer to deliver crude oil from one destination to another. This safety-sensitive position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of the vehicle, within company policy. All crude haulers will be cross trained to haul water and will be required to haul water as needed.
Responsibilities :
- Adhere to and follow all safety guidelines as directed by Company and OSHA policies
- Test and buy oil according to A.P.I. (American Petroleum Institute) standards
- Load and unload tanker with crude oil, adhering to all company and governmental regulations
- Operate semi-truck and transport load while adhering to state and federal laws and company policies
- Complete and transmit all paperwork in compliance with established procedures
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as necessary
- Perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment and / or facilities, as required
- Maintain miscellaneous daily service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank-related items
Compensation and Benefits :
Sign-on bonus - $9,000Commuter bonus - $400 monthlyStarting commission percentage based on tenure, experience and shift. Requirements :
Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsementsTwo years driving experience that must include one year of tanker. Preferred experience in the oilfield terrainNo more than three moving violations in the last five years and no more than one moving violation in the last 12 months, no DWI / DUI in the last 5 yearsHave current medical cardMust pass a drive test with 18-speed transmissionBe able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and background checkAble to drive in adverse weather conditionsAbility to work 12-14 hour shifts dailyAbility to work nights and weekendsAbility to chain upAbility to lift 75 pounds repeatedlyAbility to climb stairs repeatedly
