Baptist Health is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neurosurgery Pre-OP / PACU Team at our Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville location. Our facility has been recognized as a Comprehensive Stroke Center and has been rewarded the Joint Commision's top certification. The surgical teams perform Neurosurgery cases as well as Neuroendovascular cases. This role is a Full-time Days Pre-OP / PACU position. This position requires call with a 40-minute call response time.

As a Registered Nurse in the Neurosurgery Pre-OP / PACU, you will :

• Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services
• Include patients and significant others (SO) / families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Educate patients / SO / families to their disease process and plan of care
• Coordinating and preparing assigned room / case
• This position requires call.
