EVS Technician Environmental Services

Pay Rate: $15/hr Paid weekly!

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift available (rotating weekends required)

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will ensure all non-occupied patient rooms are cleaned thoroughly, safely, and efficiently. This position requires deep-cleaning tasks, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to follow detailed inspection standards. Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize non-occupied patient rooms thoroughly and efficiently
• Make beds, flip mattresses, and disinfect all high-touch surfaces
• Collect linens, place them in large bags, and transport them safely
• Clean isolation rooms following strict infection-control procedures
• Wear protective gowns, masks, and PPE when required
• Maintain high cleaning standardsquality checks conducted by supervisors using visual inspections and fluorescent light tests

Essential Skills

• Housekeeping experience
• Janitorial / custodial skills
• General cleaning and sanitation knowledge

• Punctuality in reporting to assigned shifts
• Ability to work all required hours and rotating weekends

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced hospital setting with varying shift options:

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM 7:30 AM

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
