About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : 2+ years Med Surg experience

License : New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License / Registration Certificate required

Certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)

Must-Have : Must be willing to float to other units as needed

Description :

For holiday coverage, travelers are required to work two of the following :

Thanksgiving and the Friday / weekend after.

Christmas Eve / Christmas Day and the Friday / weekend after.

New Year’s Eve / New Year’s Day and the Friday / weekend after.

Extensions or assignments that are requested to end in November or before the holiday starts in December will not be considered for extension at the beginning of the following year.

Shift accommodation requests will not be considered for this need.

The unit has a lower acuity and may have patient ratios of up to 9 : 1.

Travelers must be willing to care for custodial patients.

Coordinates total nursing care for patients and participates in patient and family teaching.

Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient team personnel.

Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.

The patient population includes adult and geriatric patients.

Travelers must provide their own professional scrubs without logos.

Epic experience is required.

Travelers must have their own vehicle.

Permanent address must be included in the profile.

Any and all requests for time off must be included in the profile to be considered.

All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance.

Proofs must be uploaded to the required system.

Every other weekend and holidays are required if needed.
