HouseSmart Construction Production Manager
The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily crew scheduling, job assignments, and overall project execution. Manages communications with retail customers, coordinates parts and material orders, and schedules subcontractors and vendors. Ensures timely updates and service support for warranty issues. Maintains compliance and oversight of fleet equipment, including daily inspections and mechanical upkeep. Works closely with crews on safety and qualification requirements, ensuring smooth operations across all job sites.
Crew & Production Management
- Create and maintain the schedule board daily
- Assign jobs and projects to each crew.
- Move crew members around as needed.
Retail & Customer Communication
Send production update for each retail center on a weekly basisMeet with each retail customer on site before the project beginsParts and SuppliesOrder all parts for all projectsSubcontractor / Vendors
Work with and schedule all deliveries with transport companySchedule vendors to deliver materials to job siteSupply all vendors and transport company with all job info and materials.Warranty
Work with retail centers on service items, work with customers and schedule crews.Employee and Equipment Oversight
In charge of performing and / or maintaining DVIR for every truck every morning.Working with crew members on all Employee Driver Qualification itemsSupervise mechanic on all truck and equipment maintenanceOther duties as assignedRequirements and Qualifications
Years of Related Experience :
Minimum of five years in Construction Management, Logistics Management or similar experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) :
Bilingual (Spanish and English) is preferable but not necessary.Ability to manage fast-paced operations with changing dynamics and variablesKnowledge of or the ability to build knowledge of / relationships with business and end customersAbility to learn and utilize a variety of software programs used in on-site construction activitiesAbility to lead and collaborate with othersStrong teambuilding skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated strict attention to detailStrong organizational and analytical skillsAbility to work in a team environmentMotivated self-starter with a desire to learnPay :
$65,000+ annually based on experience.
