Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Lowell, MA area (Hybrid) $90k to $105k plus bonus

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a well-established SaaS / Technology organization in the Lowell, MA area to hire a Senior Accountant.

This is a highly visible role within the corporate finance team, responsible for managing general ledger activities, project accounting, and royalty reporting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with leadership and cross-functional partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and drive continuous process improvements.

What You’ll Do

• Manage project accounting processes, including new project setup, tracking, and purchase order approvals.
• Prepare and process royalty calculations and payments for vendors and partners.
• Support treasury activities, including debt and interest calculations.
• Partner with event and operations teams to analyze and record program and symposium spending.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts such as capitalized costs, prepaid expenses, and accruals.
• Prepare month-end journal entries and conduct P&L and balance sheet variance analyses.
• Review and approve ERP requisitions and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Maintain financial accuracy in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Support external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and detailed analysis.
• Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
