Job descriptionEvaluate and manage patients with orthopedic complaints, including sports injuries, total joint issues, trauma, fracture care, and non-operative spine conditions Provide support for both elective sports medicine and total joint surgeries, as well as trauma cases Participate in weekend call coverage as scheduled Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to deliver comprehensive orthopedic care Document clinical activities using the Cerner EMR system Required board certification : Orthopaedic Surgery California license required Sports medicine or FQHC / rural health experience is a plus Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Whether you need long term coverage for your practice, short term vacation coverage, or anything in between – you can trust Barton Associates to provide the flexible staffing solutions your organization needs to thrive. About The Position
We are seeking an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California starting Nov 17, 2025. This role offers a full-time Monday through Friday clinic schedule with weekend call coverage. You will provide care for a broad range of orthopedic cases, with a focus on sports medicine, total joints, trauma, and fracture management. Experience in sports medicine or rural health is highly valued.
