Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : Facility can call off up to one shift per pay period (every two weeks)

Experience : 1 year of skilled home health experience and Oasis experience required

License : Pending license accepted

Certifications : BCLS

Must-Have : Reliable transportation

Job Description :

• Home Health RN for Humboldt County and surrounding areas.
• Shift : 8-hour days (cannot accommodate 4x10s or 3x12s).
• Patient Ratios : 1 : 1, with the potential to visit up to 6 patients per day; 30 productivity points standard.
• First-timers are not accepted.
• Requirements include one weekend shift per contract.
• The traveler is expected to have their own transportation; the system efficiently groups clients to minimize drive time, with an occasional maximum radius of 50+ miles.
• Use of EPIC / Oasis for charting.
• Orientation hours : 40 (non-billable).
• There is no on-call requirement, and no requirement to float between like units.
• Locals are accepted if within a 50-mile radius.
• Vaccines : COVID-19 vaccine not required; flu vaccine status unknown.
• All travelers are expected to float between facilities within a given state; refusal may result in termination of assignment or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
• If required, communication devices will be supplied for assigned duties.
