Subsea Design Engineer - Structural Analysis & Manifolds

Established (est. 20+ Years) Engineering Firm Seeking Subsea Design Engineer - Manifolds / Structural in Houston, TX

An established engineering firm based in Houston with over 20 years in business is seeking a Subsea Design Engineer - Manifolds / Structural with 5+ years of experience to join their team onsite . This engineer will work on subsea manifold and structural systems , with a focus on structural analysis, weldments, and foundation sizing .

Offer :

Salary range : $130,000-$150,000, contingent on experience

Qualifications :

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in subsea structural engineering.

Experience with STAAD.Pro for structural analysis is highly desirable.

Familiarity with piping analysis tools such as AutoPipe or Caesar II is a plus.

Experience sizing foundations to API RP 2GEO (mudmats or suction piles) is a plus.

Knowledge of standards including API 17P, ASME B31.8, API RP-2A, AISC 335, AISC 360, and API RP-2GEO is preferred.

Responsibilities :

Perform structural analysis and design of subsea manifolds and related components.

Develop and review weldment designs for subsea applications.

Conduct piping analysis and support design using AutoPipe or Caesar II.

Size and design subsea foundations including mudmats and suction piles.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and client specifications.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
