IT Director

Salary Range : $116,000 to $135,000 annually + benefits

Requirements to Apply

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive IT leadership experience with proven success managing teams and IT operations
  • Hands-on experience with Blackbaud, Power BI, SQL, and Azure
  • Certifications in Blackbaud, Power BI, or SQL preferred
  • Experience managing CRM, data, and business intelligence strategies at an enterprise level
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with ability to engage executives and staff
  • 50% or more physical in-office presence required
  • Background in nonprofit, foundation, or fundraising-focused environments strongly preferred
  • Experience leading technology assessments and organizational change initiatives a plus

Job Overview

We are seeking an IT Director to provide both strategic and operational leadership for technology systems in support of a mission-driven nonprofit foundation. This role oversees IT operations, data management, business intelligence, and core systemsincluding Blackbaud, Power BI, SQL, and Azureensuring technology aligns seamlessly with organizational goals.

The IT Director will lead a comprehensive technology assessment, develop a modernization roadmap, and champion process improvements that drive efficiency, security, and stakeholder engagement. In addition to managing infrastructure and systems, this leader will recruit, mentor, and develop IT staff while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture. A critical member of the leadership team, the IT Director will also communicate strategies, risks, and progress clearly to executives and promote cross-departmental alignment to support the organizations long-term vision.
