Associate Designer, CAD Job at Lane Bryant in Columbus

About the role The Associate Designer will support the Design Team in executing seasonal concept direction, line plan style needs, margin requirements and completion of product. Communicates to agents / vendors and other departments under the direction of the Designer / Senior Designer. Will additionally provide tactical and administrative support for specified categories.

Designer / Designer in creating the product collections at the beginning of each season for specific category / categories

Support design team by preparing necessary visual tools (i.e. sketches, line sheets in google slides, presentation boards, fabric swatches, color standards, etc)

Assist in coordinating category samples and CADs for line review and Line Coordination

Partner and communicate with Sourcing to ensure accurate translation of design intent

Assist in all sketching seasonal assortment, creating accurate seasonal tech packs, tech pack updates and line sheets per categories under direction of the Sr. Designer and / or designer

2-4 years of experience in a design related position for a fashion retailer.

~ Bachelor’s degree in design or related field preferred.

~ Proficient in Word, Excel and Power Point. Prior PLM, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO and Kaleidostyle experience preferred.
