Job description

Mental Health Cooperative, Inc. (MHC) was formed in 1993 to serve individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. Since then, we have expanded our services to children and adolescents with severe emotional disorders across Middle and East Tennessee. Our sole purpose is to support and treat those living with serious mental illness and poverty. :

The Chief Medical Officer will :

  • Oversee leadership, direction, and administration of quality care in the provision of behavioral health services and medical management of all consumers
  • Support a clinical staff of 80+ while building a culture of engagement and team collaboration across all clinical and operational functions
  • Spearhead the integration, coordination, and improvement of clinical care and patient safety for healthcare operations
  • Guide the development and implementation of medical staff policies, practices, and clinical programs throughout the health system
  • Drive, support, and model a service-oriented culture focused on employee engagement, quality, patient safety, service excellence, fiscal responsibility, and the overall patient experience
  • Receive an executive level compensation package to include competitive base salary with a 20% target bonus and myriad benefits.
