Staff Physician III at Rio Grande State Center

We are seeking a dedicated Staff Physician III to join our team at Rio Grande State Center. As a Staff Physician III, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical evaluation and treatment to patients with psychiatric disorders. Your responsibilities will include :

• Leading and supervising Physicians, PAs, and APRNs in the general medical clinic
• Performing comprehensive physical assessments and medical history
• Monitoring patient response to treatment and documenting encounters
• Overseeing the implementation of the hospital infection control plan
• Participating in audits and performance improvement activities
• Providing treatment to state hospital employees injured in the course of employment
