Job description

Senior SDET – Multifamily Technology

Experienced Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with end-to-end testing expertise to join our Multifamily Technology team. This role is ideal for a seasoned testing professional with deep expertise in end-to-end testing across complex systems, test automation, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have prior experience at

  • and a strong background in Multifamily technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end testing across multiple integrated systems for major initiatives.
  • Design, create, and manage test data for a wide range of test scenarios using Test Data Management frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Karate for API and service testing, Selenium with Java bindings for UI automation, Rest Assured, Postman, and Karate for RESTful service validation.
  • Expand and optimize automation coverage to meet evolving testing needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and quality delivery.
  • Utilize AWS services for cloud-based testing and validation.
  • Participate in and contribute to large-scale testing programs, ensuring alignment with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate testing efforts across multiple stakeholders and teams.
  • Drive Agile testing practices, including continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior SDETs and QA engineers.

    • Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Proven experience in Multifamily technology and major enterprise initiatives.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Karate, Selenium (Java), Rest Assured, Postman, AWS (ECS, S3, Lambda, etc.), Test Data Management frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and CI / CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead testing efforts across multiple teams.

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or similar CI / CD platforms.
