Business Analyst (Dallas)

Title - Business Analyst (Education Industry & Agile Experience)

Location - Dallas based, 3 days in office, 2 remote

The candidate MUST have :

• higher education processes (student enrollment, financial aid, HR, or academic systems).
• MUST live in Dallas, coming to the office 3x a week, 2 days remote.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in education or public sector environments.

Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe).

Hands-on experience with Oracle web applications (student systems, ERP, or financial systems preferred).

Demonstrated ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements using industry-standard techniques.

Experience in test planning, test case execution, and defect management.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, or equivalent.

Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Required Skills

Must have EXCELLENT Communication Skills, both verbal and written.

Familiarity with higher education processes (student enrollment, financial aid, HR, or academic systems).

Experience with data analysis and reporting tools.

Knowledge of change management and user adoption practices.
