ASUP Compost Rider

Job Summary

This position is a valuable opportunity for students seeking to learn more about on campus composting efforts systems and techniques. The Compost Rider will be part of a team that manages and maintains the composting system in select residence halls on campus. The Rider will ensure the clean and efficient collection of compost from special containers in each residence hall and their transport to containers behind the Commons. Additionally the Rider will notify physical plant of any necessary maintenance requests regarding the compost bins.

Organizational and time management skills Must be flexible and able to learn quickly on the job Ability to work alone with little or no supervision

Willingness to learn about composting and environmental issues on campus
