Job Description

Job Title : Physical Therapist (PT)

Job Specialty : Physical Therapy - Outpatient

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 to 10-hour days, hours may vary between 0700 and 1730, typically 8-hour shifts

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 1 year of outpatient experience

License : Required, willing to wait for the right candidate

Certifications : BLS, CPR

Must-Have :

  • One year of outpatient physical therapy experience
  • EMR experience

Job Description :

  • Treat 8-10 patients per day with common diagnoses including general orthopedic, neurological issues, BPPV, vestibular conditions, and falls, with a large geriatric population
  • Work in an outpatient setting at a single location
  • Collaborate with PTAs and Rehab Tech
  • Participate in orientation specific to the department, including familiarization with the environment, processes, and EMR
  • No weekend or holiday requirements
  • Follow the dress code by wearing burgundy scrubs or a burgundy polo shirt with dark pants
  • Use Cerner charting system
