Job descriptionProviding outpatient support to the surgical oncology team Managing pre- and post-operative patient care Conducting evaluations and follow-ups Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in EMR Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) program Active NJ Nurse Practitioner (NP) and / or Physician Assistant (PA) license Solid assessment, clinical and documentaiton skills Great interpersonal skills and communication skills CDS / DEA registration Experience in Oncology and / or Surgical settings Excellent clinical and organizational abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Job Description
A leading healthcare facility in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support their Outpatient Surgical Oncology team for a 4-month assignment. This role will provide clinical coverage while the facility recruits permanent staff.
About the Opportunity :
- Assignment Length : 4+ months (possible extension)
- Schedule : Monday-Friday, days only
- Setting : Outpatient Surgical Oncology (office-based)
