Unit Specifics :

Hospital Specifics-

Must have : Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills.\n\n \n\n \n\nAdvanced skills needed : ACLS. Experience with bipaps, high flow 02 and multiple oxygen delivery systems. Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care. Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred. Experience with tube feedings and NG / dobhoff tubes.\n\n \n\n \n\nProcedures performed on unit : Peritoneal dialysis, thoracentesis, paracentesis, chest tube insertions, dobhoff / NG tube insertions, central line dressing changes. Trouble shooting wound vacs\n\n \n\n \n\nCertifications Required : BLS, ACLS
