Overview

We are seeking a Director of Architecture – Operational Technology (OT) Solutions to lead the architectural design and delivery of Operational Technology (OT) solutions in the utility sector, including electric, gas, and water utilities. This role is responsible for defining end-to-end OT solution architecture, aligning with enterprise IT / OT strategies, and overseeing delivery across complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-workstream programs involving SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, AMI, EMS, and other critical infrastructure systems.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in OT / IT convergence, digital grid modernization, and cybersecurity, and is capable of engaging with executive stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies to drive transformational outcomes.

Responsibilities

Architecture & Strategy

• Define and evolve OT architecture frameworks aligned to business goals, regulatory compliance, and security requirements.
• Lead architectural design for large-scale OT systems (SCADA, ADMS, EMS, DMS, OMS, AMI, DERMS, .
• Ensure interoperability across IT and OT systems, including data integration, edge computing, and network design.
• Provide architectural leadership on utility grid modernization, distributed energy integration, and automation initiatives.
• Support raising TRC’s profile as an industry leader in operational technologies and innovative solutioning by creating marketing artifacts, writing industry facing articles / blogs, or presenting at conferences.

Compensation : In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation :  Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
