Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 12 / 15 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Oncology Location This position is located in a medical surgical unit with oncology patients, serving adults and geriatric populations. Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15). Every other weekend and call required if called off on a prescheduled shift. Job Description We are seeking skilled Registered Nurses with a minimum of 2 years of medical surgical experience for a medical surgical / oncology unit. The position involves caring for patients with general medical-surgical diagnoses and administering chemotherapy / biotherapy. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to a daily census of approximately 42 patients Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy through IV, oral, or injection methods Monitor patients for complications and respond to their needs Manage blood products and perform IV therapy Participate in interdisciplinary support teams Work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 2 years of Medical Surgical experience required, Oncology experience preferred BLS certification required; ONS / ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred or willing to obtain Proficiency in IV therapy, blood product administration, and managing central / peripheral lines EKG testing will be required prior to start Why ARMStaffing?
