About The Position

Job Title : EEG Technician

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 30 - 16 : 00)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : Must be in hand prior to start date

Certifications : ABRET, BLS, R.EEG T.

Must-Have :

First-time travelers accepted if all other requirements are met.

Open to accommodating block scheduling.

Local travelers accepted.

Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.

One pre-approved time-off allowed per contract.

Description :

Shift is 5x8's from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM.

The types of cases include epilepsy monitoring unit, sEEG, neurotelemetry, ictal SPECT, routine EEG, trauma, and critical care.

The staff may need to perform hookups, routines, and monitor adult patients as needed.

They will also assist in monitoring adult patients from across the system.

Experience with adult ICU, adult inpatient, adult outpatient and various EEG special procedures is essential.

Clinicians must be comfortable working with all patient populations and floating between different facilities if asked.

Candidates are required to have experience with a variety of EEG techniques, including routine EEG and long-term monitoring.

Travelers must float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed.

Medical records information is documented through the electronic health record system.

Candidates should ensure they meet all certification and experience requirements prior to application.
