As we continue being 'Here for you', we're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Provide functional leadership in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Provide engineering support and capital estimations to cross-functional teams.
- Lead Design Safety Reviews for major projects.
- Develop, apply and optimize machine control systems and software to analyze production, improve equipment performance and ensure product quality.
- Assist in the development of scopes of work for Technical Service Providers specifying design requirements, deliverables, processes and procedures, timeline and verification requirements.
- Review electrical documentation and specifications.
- Lead turnover meetings and teleconferences working across functions and plant locations.
- Protect technologies and products through appropriate use of patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property.
- Engage and communicate with vendors and suppliers.
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety by following safety procedures, maintaining a safe workplace and complying with safety rules.
- Work with design software, including CAD.
- Utilize project management tools, including MS Project.
- Utilize drive and motor control technologies.
- Work with machine safety systems and process controls.
- Use registration and inspection systems, operator interface and software design, and communications architecture.
- Adhere to international design standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related.5 years of experience in the job offered or a related engineering occupation in the hygienic, packaging or food industry.Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following : working with design software, including CAD; utilizing project management tools, including MS Project; utilizing drive and motor control technologies; working with machine safety systems and process controls; using registration and inspection systems, operator interface and software design, and communications architecture; and adhering to international design standards.If interested apply online at https : / / careers.ontex.com or email your resume to hr.usa@ontexglobal.com and reference the job title of the role and requisition number DFC25IN.
