As we continue being 'Here for you', we're looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional leadership in the initiation of design, development, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Provide engineering support and capital estimations to cross-functional teams.
• Lead Design Safety Reviews for major projects.
• Develop, apply and optimize machine control systems and software to analyze production, improve equipment performance and ensure product quality.
• Assist in the development of scopes of work for Technical Service Providers specifying design requirements, deliverables, processes and procedures, timeline and verification requirements.
• Review electrical documentation and specifications.
• Lead turnover meetings and teleconferences working across functions and plant locations.
• Protect technologies and products through appropriate use of patents, trade secrets, and other intellectual property.
• Engage and communicate with vendors and suppliers.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety by following safety procedures, maintaining a safe workplace and complying with safety rules.
• Work with design software, including CAD.
• Utilize project management tools, including MS Project.
• Utilize drive and motor control technologies.
• Work with machine safety systems and process controls.
• Use registration and inspection systems, operator interface and software design, and communications architecture.
• Adhere to international design standards.
