This acute care medical center features a 10-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services for patients with complex medical conditions. The facility operates as a non-closed ICU where primary physicians manage patient care rather than dedicated intensivists. The unit provides comprehensive critical care including balloon pump management, ventilator support, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring. Respiratory therapy services are available 24 / 7 with coverage across multiple units, and the facility maintains nocturnist coverage for after-hours physician support.
