Mental Health Specialist II

A company is looking for a Mental Health Specialist II (Per Diem) to provide support for the 988 Lifeline Services.

Key Responsibilities

Interacts with clients in a therapeutic manner and ensures effective handling of service requests

Assesses service requests and clients' conditions to provide appropriate referrals or dispositions

Documents assessments, interventions, and interactions with clients in accordance with established policies

Required Qualifications

Four years of full-time paid experience in a relevant mental health or human service field, or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field

Ability to handle phone requests under time and decision-making pressure

Experience with crisis intervention

Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 20 lbs

Familiarity with documentation and assessment procedures in a mental health context
