Position:
Tax-Accounting Assistant
Location: 2092 Concourse Drive, San Jose, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time (Salaried, On-Site)
Compensation: $20–$25/hour (based on experience) | 40 hours/week

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax-Accounting Assistant to support our team with a range of client-focused services. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Education: M.Com or MBA in Accounting/Finance

• Proficient in QuickBooks, TallyPrime, and advanced Microsoft Excel functions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bilingual fluency in English and Hindi required; additional fluency in Punjabi, Urdu, Gujarati, Marathi, Telugu, or Tamil is a plus

• Preferred: CPA or Chartered Accountant (from India/Pakistan/Canada) or prior U.S. tax filing experience

• Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (CPT, OPT, H4 EAD, Green Card, or U.S. Citizen)

Responsibilities:

• Receive and review client documentation (bank statements, W-2s, pay stubs, etc.)

• Prepare basic financial calculations and reconciliation sheets

• Handle incoming calls and client communication professionally

• Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry into accounting systems

• Collaborate with the team on tax preparation and bookkeeping tasks

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to daily excellence
