Job descriptionDeliver bread and butter outpatient adult primary care to patients with multiple health issues Manage chronic care cases and internal medicine needs Conduct patient visits in 20-minute blocks, ensuring efficient and thorough care Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes Minimum 3 years experience in an internal medicine or family medicine outpatient setting as a Physician Assistant required Must be comfortable with a high-volume schedule and complex adult cases National certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications required (AHA versions) Required board certifications : Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Must be licensed to practice in California Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities
We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician Assistant for an 80-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 8, 2025. This role features a Monday through Friday, 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm schedule, providing outpatient adult primary care in a fast-paced setting.
