12 / 1 STARTS ONLY CONSIDERED Unit PACU # Beds- 13 Phase 1 and Phase 2? -13 phase 1, 17 phase 2, travelers cover both Nurse : Patient Ratios- phase 1 - 1 : 2; phase 2 = 1 : 4 Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?)- BLS, ACLS, PALS Common Cases- lap chole, bariatric, debridements, ortho, neuro Experience or 'Must have' skills-must have PACU or ICU experience EMR -Cerner Charge Nurse / House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?-Yes, up to 1 patient at a time Are there nurse aids on this unit / Ratios- 1 transporter RT Equipment (vents, Cpap, BiPap, etc)- RT handles vents, etc ICU patients - do they recover in PACU?-we do work with ICU patients on occasion RNs read strips?-Yes Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)-We schedule as needed, and schedule 6 weeks out Weeknight / Call Requirements 4 weeknights / month Weekend / Call Requirements 24-36 hours of weekend call / month dep. on staffing Holiday / Call Requirements -1 holiday / year What is call response time?- 30 minutes Floating Requirements- must float to ACU / pre op / phase 2, PACU RN's pre-op and discharge as needed Scrub Color / Dress Code- scrubs provided by hospital Unit / Department specific orientation- PACU and ACU specific orientation provided

Cerner Charting Exp, 2+ years of PACU exp, previous travel experience preferred
