Overview
We’re looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse who wants to be in the nursing field leading and supervising others but not providing continuous daily hands-on care. If you are looking to lead and share your skills with others, this could be the opportunity for you!
In this role, you’ll focus on care planning, providing guidance and expertise to ensure our clients receive top-notch care in the comfort of their own homes. You’ll play a key role in supervising and supporting caregivers, helping to implement and monitor individualized care plans. This position offers a balance between clinical and administrative responsibilities, allowing you to use your nursing expertise in a way that’s impactful, but without the physical strain of traditional direct care.
Responsibilities
- Creates patient Plan of Care per Physician’s orders and ensures compliance
- Implements nursing support for individuals in a home setting
- Reviews nursing documentation to ensure Field Nurse is following Physician’s orders
- Reviewing MARs, verbal orders, medication profile management to match Physicians orders
- Follows policies and procedures according to operation, state and regulatory standards
- Completes supervisory visits based on compliance and regulations to include review of plan of care, caregiver competency assessment, and completion of required documentation
- Training for Caregivers and Nurses as required
- Participates in staff meetings, in-services and other meetings as required
Qualifications
Degree in Nursing from an accredited schoolMust have no less than 2 years clinical experience, and at least 1 year in related management / supervisory roleCurrent or multi state license in compliance with the state regulationsCPR professional certificationExcellent communication skills with all levels of personnel, internal and external to the companyCapable of working independently with highly confidential information
