Shop Service Advisor

Position Summary

The Shop Service Advisor is responsible for dispatching field technicians to service calls and planned maintenance, accurately invoicing completed work, and estimating additional repairs needed. The Shop Service Advisor plays a crucial role: aligning excellent customer service and dispatch abilities with our customers' need to deliver excellence safely. This position is highly collaborative, internally and externally facing, and requires a high level of customer service and communication skills.

• Conducting follow up with customers and technicians on pending jobs and finding solutions to move forward.

• To quickly and concisely document service order updates in real time.

Requirements

Capabilities and Key Competencies

• Ability to read and comprehend technician service order write ups.
• Ability to transfer basic understanding and knowledge about mechanical systems between different types of equipment.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and decision-making ability.
• Ability to thoroughly document customer concerns and service order updates.
• Ability to effectively utilize company computer, email, and IP phone system.
• Ability to take rotating on call shift (phone only) for emergency dispatch of established customers.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma/GED

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift minimum of 10 pounds occasionally.
• Wear required personal protective equipment as required.
• Sit for multiple hours at a time.

Schedule - Full time Position

• Monday through Friday, 7am - 4pm

**Pay range: $22/hr. to $27/hr. based on relevant experience, plus Monthly Bonuses**
