Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring Epic and Level 1 Trauma experience in Illinois.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the ICU of a hospital environment
  • Night shift schedule from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 30am, three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Care for critically ill patients in a Level 1 Trauma setting
  • Use Epic EMR for all patient charting
  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Engage in patient and family education, adapting strategies to individual needs
  • Support performance improvement initiatives and participate in quality data collection
  • Advocate for patient care needs and actively contribute to team performance
  • May not continuously work assignments at this facility for more than one year without a six-month break
  • Requested time off may not exceed 7 days for each 13-week contract

  • Active IL RN license or temporary license required
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) required
  • Minimum of one year of relevant ICU nursing experience required
  • Experience with Level 1 Trauma cases required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • No local candidates within a 50-mile radius
