Product Line Leader - Digital Underwriting

Global is one of the most respected names in aviation and aerospace insurance. We offer many types of coverage like General Aviation, Aerospace Manufacturers, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Space & Satellite, and much more. We are looking for someone that has strategic management experience along with strong Underwriting and management skills.

This role is responsible for the development, implementation and management of digital underwriting strategies, processes and decisions related to all digital underwriting activities within defined business segments. Further duties and responsibilities are listed below.

• Develop & implement long & short-term digital underwriting & special program strategies, participating in strategic business planning & monitoring activities
• Lead, develop, & manage a team of underwriters, ensuring high technical standards and consistent underwriting practices
• Increase company presence in the market through visibility and participation at various regional and national trade shows & forums
• Develop & sustain strong relationships with brokers & clients
• Effectively achieve profit & growth objectives for assigned business segments as well as support other business segments
• Builds & maintains customer, broker / agent, & special program partner relationships
• Develop & maintain relations with internal departments & act as a referral & collaboration resources
• Recommends product changes, updates to digital underwriting procedures & guidelines & monitors rate levels
• Maintain understanding of competitors, identifies, trends, & emerging issues
• In conjunction with regional management, creates and / or implements appropriate training & development

Pay Range

Anticipated Pay Range For This Role Is :

$185,000 – $225,000

This pay range represents the base annual full-time salary for this position. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to relevant experience, education, geography, and skill set. All full-time positions are eligible to participate in Global’s profit-sharing plan program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
