Senior Analytics Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will play a key role in developing innovative data solutions that drive business insights, improve efficiency, and deliver tangible value across the organization.

This position involves leading analytics projects from concept to completion, enhancing data infrastructure, and mentoring team members to foster continuous growth.

Your expertise will help shape data strategies that align with Empowers mission of advancing healthcare through accessible, high-quality medications.

  • Responsibilities

Proficient in the following technologies :

  • Python
  • SQL & NoSQL
  • Data modeling (Kimball, Data Vault 2.1)
  • ELT / ETL tools (Apache Hop, Data Build Tool [dbt])
  • Cloud platforms (Snowflake, Amazon Web Services [AWS], Azure).
  • data storytelling,
  • Data visualization skills (Power Business Intelligence (BI), Data Analysis Expressions),
  • Git experience
  • Conceptual modeling (Lucid Chart)
  • Knowledge of the pharmacy business

  • Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related role.
  • Education
  • Bachelor's or equivalent education
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Preferred Certifications

  • Certified DBT Developer
  • MS Power BI Data Analyst PL-300 Certification
  • Snowflake experience
  • SnowPro Certifications
  • Data Vault 2 Data Modeling Certified
  • Data Vault 2.0 Practitioner Certification
  • AWS Data Engineering Certification preferred.
  • AWS Data Analytics Certification preferred.
  • Candidates must meet the required years of experience at scale with one or more of the listed technologies.
