Job Title : Structures Mechanic

Job Description

As a Structures Mechanic, you will perform heavy structural repairs, maintenance, and modifications on F / A-18 aircraft, contributing to the enhancement and longevity of these advanced fighter jets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct heavy structural repairs and maintenance on F / A-18 aircraft.
• Perform depot level maintenance and modifications.
• Execute sheet-metal modifications and structural repairs.
• Address corrosion issues and implement necessary solutions.
• Work on aircraft modifications to upgrade to 5th generation fighters.

Work Environment

Work in an open-bay, non-climate controlled environment with shifts available as follows : 1st Shift from 5 : 30am to 2 : 30pm and 2nd Shift from 2pm to 10 : 30pm, with optional overtime. Flexibility to work any shift is required. An annual expense of $100 for steel-toed shoes is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00 / hr.
