Basic Function :
The Staff Accountant supports the Accounting Department by performing core accounting functions including accounts receivable processing, account reconciliations, vendor documentation, and assisting with general ledger maintenance. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial data and supporting compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Process accounts receivable tasks such as invoicing, cash application, and customer account updates
- Export AR data from QTPod into X-1 and QuickBooks Online (QBO) daily
- Assist with monthly account reconciliations and ledger maintenance
- Support tax compliance and documentation
- Reconcile and apply fuel payments
- Assist with filing state business entity renewals
- Help maintain and organize lease and contract agreements
- Provide general support for accounts payable, including invoice entry and coding
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure proper application of trip payments
- Assist with credit card reconciliation and coding across multiple entities
- Collect and digitize W-9 forms and assist with annual 1099 preparation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives as assigned
- Complete ad hoc tasks and projects as directed by leadership
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact across the organization.Strong proficiency in general accounting practices, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and alignment with Company culture and values.Required Qualifications
