Responsibilities :
- Patient Care : Provide skilled therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Therapeutic Interventions : Implement treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities of daily living training, and adaptive equipment training.
- Patient Education : Educate patients and families on techniques to improve functional skills and independence.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Infection Control : Adhere to strict infection control guidelines to protect both patients and healthcare workers.
Requirements :
Certification : Current and valid Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) license in the state of Florida.Experience : Minimum of 6 months experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab required.Skills : Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.Professionalism : Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to providing quality care.Transportation : Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.Benefits :
