Pay : $2,181.60 / week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and flexible Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Tucson, Arizona. This position is part of the system-wide Float Pool, requiring the RN to work across multiple facilities and departments-including Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Ortho / Neuro, Progressive Care (PCU), and occasionally the Emergency Department holding area for admitted patients.

The RN will provide high-quality, evidence-based care using the nursing process, demonstrate strong clinical judgment, and ensure patient safety in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires adaptability, solid Telemetry skills, and comfort with floating between units and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring telemetry and medical-surgical level monitoring.
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms, notifying providers of abnormal results.
• Administer medications, manage IV lines, and perform wound and post-surgical care per facility protocols.
• Prioritize and delegate patient care based on acuity, staff experience, and available resources.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately using the Cerner EMR system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure effective and coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, monitoring procedures, and discharge instructions.
• Float between assigned units and facilities as needed, providing coverage for Telemetry, Ortho / Neuro, PCU, or ED holding areas.
• Uphold infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality standards in all aspects of care.
