Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU / CCU Float Pool position in Utah requiring a UT or compact RN license and night shift availability.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the ICU / CCU Float Pool covering acute care settings within a 60-mile zone in Utah
  • Floating is required throughout the designated zone
  • Night shifts are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including every other weekend
  • Charting is performed using EpicCare Inpatient EMR system
  • 13-week assignment with 12-hour shifts
  • Must secure housing that allows travel throughout the entire 60-mile float zone
  • Orientation week requires in-state presence; some modules may be remote
  • Candidates may not have been employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity, in the last year unless employed PRN through outside agencies
  • Every other weekend shift coverage is mandatory
  • Dress code : Scrubs required
  • Holiday coverage expectations may apply per unit operational needs

  • Active UT or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
  • Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience
  • Current certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Must provide a copy of driver’s license for verification
  • Must provide two professional references : one from a supervisor within the last 12 months and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility
