Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER Holding RN for a night shift assignment requiring a MI RN license and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position based in the ER Holding (CDU) unit of a hospital setting
  • Patient ratio typically 1 : 4, may be slightly higher as unit opens additional rooms
  • Night shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating within scope to similar units required as needed
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Local candidates accepted within a 75 mile radius
  • Former permanent staff must have a 6-month separation before returning as a traveler
  • Modules must be completed onsite annually via HealthStream
  • RTO (Requested Time Off) preferred at 5 days or less
  • Labs are required to be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
  • Blocked schedules cannot be promised

  • Active MI RN license required at the time of submission
  • Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience
  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Open to first-time travelers
