Job Summary :

The Field Service Technician will assemble, install, troubleshoot, and commission automation systems.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Installation, testing and commissioning of vision, camera and scanning systems for high-speed automation systems at vendor and / or client sites.
• Installation and base level commissioning of new automation systems.
• Support on-site system installation, start-up, debug, and commissioning at vendor and / or client sites.
• Creates training and system documentation, as needed.
• Provide remote support to clients and team members to troubleshoot system process problems.
• Complete formal training programs to increase knowledge of specific vision, camera, and scanning systems.
• Provide daily reports to supervisor that summarize work completed that day and outline remaining tasks to be completed for current project assignment.
• Accurately tracking and reporting all time spent and expenses incurred for work performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
