Heavy Equipment / Yellow Iron Mechanic JED Landfill ( St Cloud FL)

Waste Connections is looking for a Heavy Equipment / Yellow Iron Mechanic to join the team at our location in St Cloud, FL.

6 : 30am to 5 : 00pm Monday though Friday and Saturday as needed.

$30.00 plus an hour DOE

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services.
• Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Several pieces of yellow iron currently on site. (Compactors, Dozers, Excavators, Motor grader, Water truck and Articulated Dump Truck)
• Ability to efficiently operate bulldozers, wheel loaders,motor grader, scraper.Compactorexperience preferred , but not required.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
